Here is what Boating World Magazine had to say about Proptopuss in their September 2004 issue!
ONWARD
A stuck prop is a fast way for your fun day on the water to go down the drain. That's why the Proptopuss is a handy tool to have on board. This device removes stuck props from your boat's engine with ease, eliminating pricey repairs for cutting or torching a stuck prop as well as you having to buy a new propeller. It's compatible with two-, three-, four- or six-bladed propellers.

Dear George,
The PROPTOPUSS was delivered on time and I used it within 15 minutes of receipt.
Without the tool, the prop would have been unremovable. Thanks for making the prop puller available.
Sincerely,
Bill Milardo JR.

I had a frozen prop on my Volvo Penta duo prop I/O. I called my mechanic, he told me, "Just keep hitting it with the rubber hammer". I went looking on the Ship Shape TV web page for some info on how to properly remove a frozen prop, but with no luck.
Thank you for this great tool. It only took 6 turns and my prop was free. Maybe someone on your staff should contact Ship Shape TV and show them a new trick.
Once again, I thank you.

I spoke to you a couple of times over the last few days. I ordered your Prop Puller and had it delivered to my house in 2 days.
All I can say is WOW! What a great tool you have created. You should be very proud. I live near the eastern shore, with many a marinas and boat repair places. I could not find one that had a prop puller. The largest dealer I talked to even said there was no such thing as a prop puller and I would have to heat the prop, which in turn would destroy the seals, then cut the hub off the shaft.
Well, I removed both the stuck prop and stuck hub in about 2 minutes with the PROPTOPUSS. I was so excited, and I will be back fishing this weekend because of your prop puller. Thank you, and you are the MAN!!!!!

Other Testimonials from Satisfied Customers:
"Knowing how much it cost to remove a stuck prop, Proptopuss saved me so much money!""The cost was very reasonable, to take the chance, So I ordered one. In a few days it arrived. I couldn't believe how simple it was to use - it almost made me mad that I hadn't thought of it first. Anyway, I attached the puller to the prop and in a few short minutes, with very little effort (a few tugs on the wrench that turns the puller shaft) the prop came right off, and much to my surprise - and delight, is in good enough shape to be put right back on when the other repairs are completed. I am still amazed, AND HAPPY!"-Don Shelton

I used your prop puller to remove the props from a Volvo-Penta Duo-prop. This boat operates in saltwater so galvanic action is a problem. The forward or inner prop of these systems has a notorious reputation of becoming welded from electrolysis and this boat was not an exception. Most boatyards would use a torch in this situation and destroy the prop hub. I used your prop puller.
I had to use a breaker bar to turn the centering bolt and it almost took all my strength to break the prop loose. This prop puller really worked and, PLEASE NOTE, it did no damage to the propeller blades even with all the pressure I put on it and the hub was not damaged.

Hello George,
I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how great your product is. I received the puller one day after placing my order and it took me only ten minutes to set it up and remove my stuck prop. That rear prop had a lot of hardened up grease so it had to be cranked off at least 2 inches before it began to free itself. I will tell my mechanic that he needs to invest in one of your pullers so he can also quickly and safely remove the props on a Volvo-Penta Dual prop I/O. I am also posting a thread recommending your product on the Coastside Fishing Club Website.

To: Proptopuss
My friend George and I put the PROPTOPUSS into action last evening. The first thing that occured was the alignment of the chains as it began to pull on the elephant ears Volvo-Penta prop. With ease the stuck prop separated from the prop shaft. We had spent hours beating on the prop without any movement. The puller was well worth the wait so that it saved me from having to cut the prop or damaging the splines on the shaft.
Thanks again for your invention and continued American Ingenuity.
